French renewable power producer Voltalia SA  have announced that they are devloping

a new solar photovoltaic (PV) cluster in the Brazilian state of Minas Gerais

it will have a potential capacity exceeding 1.5 GW.

Voltalia said it is working on the new Arinos cluster both for its own account

This includes one with CTG Brasil, which intends to contract a portion of the capacity

once the development phase of a project within the cluster is completed

The French company pointed out that the development of large clusters enables the pooling of infrastructure

connection networks and maintenance. It has already originated two such clusters in Brazil
